“Calming the mind, Activating the “spirit”...

To complement the Northern Shao-Lin and Tai Chi training and balance all the external use of energy is the practice of meditation…..

This allows the student to mindfully develop insight and a quiet “self-awareness” and restore all the energy they have put out, recharging their batteries, refocusing themselves, and looking inward to develop a “silent strength” and calm. It softens yet strengthens the mind and relieves tension and anxiety at the same time. Again, the breath is of primary focus as is posture and structural integrity. If practiced regularly, this calm, serene, state will stay with them throughout their daily life and provide them with a tool to be able to find strength in a peaceful state of mind.
